Gigantic Whale:

This daunting tale is about a gigantic whale,

One who wandered the entirety of the seas, from the arctic's ice to the tropical breeze. This whale was no ordinary whale.

As a matter of fact, there was something about him that made him stand out from all the other whale.

This marked distinction was in the fact that this gigantic whale enjoyed eating nothing else but scrumptious kale.

This posed a sincere problem for gigantic whale as kale is not a vegetable, which grows on the ocean floor.

But, what could he say? Ever since gigantic whale got a taste of this magical vegetable, his stomach could handle nothing else. Now that we have gotten acquainted with gigantic whale, it may be well for you to know his name. Whale's name is Shmi'mi.

One day, Shmi'mi was traveling the ocean depths, in his endless search for the seemingly mythical vegetable when he encountered a female whale. Her name is Cocavi. From the moment Shmi'mi saw Cocavi, he knew he had met his lifelong forever partner. He knew he had found something even more important than the kale vegetable, which seemed so elusive. Cocavi and Shmi'mi enjoyed each other's company for days . They swam to the very depth of Marianas trench. They swam from one end of the world to the other. They swam up to the surface and performed acrobatics over the sea for nearby fishermen. When they swam full speed and fins kicking at full speed, they jumped up from the water and flew up, up, up as though they were birds momentarily. And of course, Cocavi and Shmi'mi enjoyed giving each other fin rubs. But after some time, Cocavi began to wonder about Shmi'mi. Where was he getting his food? Yes, he came and grazed with her as she swallowed many fishes. But he never seemed to swallow a single fish.

She asked him about this.

"I only eat kale," he replied.

"Where in the ocean could we find such a thing?" She asked, continuing, "where did you ever get this kale in the first place?"

He answered, "it was tossed off board a fishing vessel. I like it. ever since, I can't eat anything else."

She asked, "Shmi'mi, when is the last time you ate?"

He replied, "I only ate that once."

She was shocked and looked at him with wonder. She asked, "how is it you have survived?"

He gazed at her glorious and majestic whale's eyes and said, "I don't have to eat. I survive by doing the will of Creator."

She looked at him with those same eyes, filled with surprise and said, "I'm going to find you some kale. Follow me."

Cocavi and Shmi'mi traversed one side of the globe to the other. Every time they stopped and every place they stopped, Cocavi would always tell Shmi'mi to wait while she spoke to the other creatures they encountered. Until one day, somewhere in a port near Lisbon, Cocavi told Shmi'mi to close his eyes. They were near the harbor. She led him quietly through the harbor along a dock where she told him to keep his eyes closed and to open his mouth. Suddenly, she said to him in a whisper, "open your eyes." There in front of him were hundreds of humans and birds and other creatures smiling atop the dock. There was also a truck filled with fresh kale. They began to shout, counting down. "1-2-3!" The truck unloaded it's contents into Shmi'mis mouth. The crowd of many different kinds of creatures began to cheer. "We love you, Shmi'mi! Come back any time!!" So, Shmi'mi, fully contented with his gigantic meal, fit for a gigantic whale was rejuvenated by two things. Physical food. Because man cannot live in human body by spirit alone. And the love of other people. He would never forget their kindness. But there was another thing, which rejuvenated him wasn't there? Perhaps without this element, the other elements would not have been possible. That was the love of his forever mate, Cocavi. They went on to live gigantic lives. They lived to 600 years old each.
