Our Father
For freedom
Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again
to a yoke of slavery. (Gal 5:1) Hail Mary
For you were called
to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for
the flesh, but through love serve one another. (Gal 5:13) Hail Mary
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the
Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Cn 3:17) Hail Mary
Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a
cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. (1 Pt 2:16) Hail
Mary
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you
abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth,
and the truth will set you free.” (Jn 8:31,32) Hail Mary
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (Jn
8:36) Hail Mary
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon
me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to
the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim
liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are
bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, and
the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to
those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the
oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a
faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting
of the Lord, that he may be glorified. (Isa 61:1-3) Hail Mary
But now that you have been set free from sin
and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to
sanctification and its end, eternal life. (Rm 6:22) Hail Mary
But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of
liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who
acts, he will be blessed in his doing. (Js 1:25) Hail Mary
I will keep your law continually, forever and ever, and
I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts. (Ps
119:44,45) Hail Mary
Glory be
Our Father
There is therefore
now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the
Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and
death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the
flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of
sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in
order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in
us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. (Rm
8:1-4) Hail Mary
Out of my distress
I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set
me free. (Ps 118:5) Hail Mary
But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of
sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to
which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have
become slaves of righteousness. (Rm 6:17,18) Hail Mary
For the creation was subjected to futility, not
willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the
creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the
freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole
creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. (Rm
8:20-22) Hail Mary
“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are
helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by
anything. (1 Cn 6:12) Hail Mary
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has
anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim
liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set
at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.” (Lk
4:18,19) Hail Mary
For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to
fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons,
by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” (Rm 8:15) Hail Mary
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in
Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set
you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. (Rm 8:1,2) Hail Mary
“All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful.
“All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. Let no one seek his own
good, but the good of his neighbor. (1 Cn 10:23,24) Hail Mary
But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so
that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who
believe. (Gal 3:22) Hail Mary
Glory be
Our Father
“Is not this the
fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the
straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break
every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the
homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and
not to hide yourself from your own flesh? (Isa 58:6,7) Hail Mary
Let it be known to
you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is
proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from
everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses. (Act
13:38,39) Hail Mary
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I
came that they may have life and have it abundantly. (Jn 10:10) Hail Mary
As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but
not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while
the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one
who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one
who eats, for God has welcomed him. (Rm 14:1-3) Hail Mary
Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so
that those who are called may receive the promised eternal
inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the
transgressions committed under the first covenant. (Heb 9:15) Hail Mary
Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver
him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to
me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him
and honor him. (Ps 91:14,15) Hail Mary
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you
are not under law but under grace. (Rm 6:14) Hail Mary
For if God did not spare angels when they sinned,
but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of
gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; if he did not spare the
ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven
others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; if
by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to
extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the
ungodly; and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by
the sensual conduct of the wicked (for as that righteous man lived among them
day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless
deeds that he saw and heard); then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly
from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the
day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the lust
of defiling passion and despise authority. (2 Pet 2:4-10) Hail Mary
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not
gratify the desires of the flesh. (Gal 5:16) Hail Mary
However, not all possess this knowledge. But
some, through former association with idols, eat food as really offered to
an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled. Food will not
commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if
we do. But take care that this right of yours does not somehow become a
stumbling block to the weak. (1 Cn 8:7-9) Hail Mary
Glory be
Our Father
For one who
has died has been set free from sin. (Rm 6:7) Hail Mary
Jesus said to
him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one
comes to the Father except through me. (Jn 14:6) Hail Mary
But now we are released from the law, having died to that
which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit
and not in the old way of the written code. (Rm 7:6) Hail Mary
“Therefore, thus says the Lord: You have not obeyed me by
proclaiming liberty, everyone to his brother and to his neighbor; behold,
I proclaim to you liberty to the sword, to pestilence, and to famine,
declares the Lord. I will make you a horror to all the kingdoms of
the earth. (Jer 34:17) Hail Mary
So speak and so act as those who are to be judged
under the law of liberty. (Js 2:12) Hail Mary
But if he makes a gift out of his inheritance to one of
his servants, it shall be his to the year of liberty. Then it shall revert
to the prince; surely it is his inheritance—it shall belong to his sons. (Eze
46:17) Hail Mary
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. (Pl
4:4) Hail Mary
When they came to the place of which God had told him,
Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his
son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then
Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. (Gen
22:9,10) Hail Mary
But the angel of the Lord called to him from
heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” He
said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now
I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son,
from me.” And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was
a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and
offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called the
name of that place, “The Lord will provide”; as it is
said to this day, “On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.” (Gen
22:11-14) Hail Mary
So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife. And he went in
to her, and the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son. Then
the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this
day without a redeemer, and may his name be renowned in Israel! He
shall be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age, for your
daughter-in-law who loves you, who is more to you than seven sons, has
given birth to him.” Then Naomi took the child and laid him on her lap and
became his nurse. And the women of the neighborhood gave him a name, saying, “A
son has been born to Naomi.” They named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse,
the father of David. (Rt 4:13-17) Hail Mary

The word that came
to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Arise, and go down to the potter's house,
and there I will let you hear my words.” So I went down to the
potter's house, and there he was working at his wheel. And the vessel he was
making of clay was spoiled in the potter's hand, and he reworked it
into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do. Then the word of
the Lord came to me: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you
as this potter has done?” declares the Lord. Behold, like the clay in
the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel. (Jer 18:1-6) Hail
Mary

ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the
ruined cities, the devastations of many generations. (Isa 61:1-4) Hail Mary
Strangers shall stand and tend your flocks; foreigners shall
be your plowmen and vinedressers; but you shall be called the priests of
the Lord; they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God; you
shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory you shall boast. Instead
of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they
shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double
portion; they shall have everlasting joy. For I
the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully
give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. (Isa
61:5-8) Hail Mary
Their offspring shall be known among the nations, and
their descendants in the midst of the peoples; all who see them shall
acknowledge them, that they are an offspring the Lord has blessed. I
will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for
he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the
robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a
beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For
as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in
it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and
praise to sprout up before all the nations. (Isa 61:9-11) Hail Mary
Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing
near to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled,
saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.” So he told
them this parable: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has
lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country,
and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has
found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home,
he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with
me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I
tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents
than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. (Lk 15:1-7)
Hail
Mary
And he said, “There was a man who had two sons. And the
younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of property
that is coming to me.’ And he divided his property between them. Not many
days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far
country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living. And when
he had spent everything, a severe famine arose in that country, and he began to
be in need. So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens
of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs. And he was
longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him
anything. “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my
father's hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with
hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him,
“Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer
worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.”’ And he
arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father
saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed
him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before
you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the
father said to his servants, ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and
put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. And
bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. For
this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And
they began to celebrate. (Lk 5:11-24) Hail Mary
Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The
Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I
am, Lord.” And the Lord said to him, “Rise and go to the street called
Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul,
for behold, he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come
in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight.” But
Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much
evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem. And here he has
authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.” But
the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to
carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of
Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake
of my name.” So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying
his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on
the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight
and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” And immediately something like scales
fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was
baptized; and taking food, he was strengthened. For some days he was
with the disciples at Damascus. And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the
synagogues, saying, “He is the Son of God.” And all who heard him were
amazed and said, “Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem of
those who called upon this name? And has he not come here for this purpose, to
bring them bound before the chief priests?” But Saul increased all the
more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that
Jesus was the Christ. (Act 9:10-22) Hail Mary
The Lord will fight for you, and you have
only to be silent. (Ex 14:14) Hail Mary
Then the angel of God who was going before the host of Israel
moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and
stood behind them, coming between the host of Egypt and the host of Israel. And
there was the cloud and the darkness. And it lit up the night without
one coming near the other all night. (Ex 14:19,20) Hail Mary
”Thus says Cyrus
king of Persia: The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms
of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem,
which is in Judah. Whoever is among you of all his people, may his God be with
him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and rebuild the house
of the Lord, the God of Israel—he is the God who is in Jerusalem. And let
each survivor, in whatever place he sojourns, be assisted by the men of his place
with silver and gold, with goods and with beasts, besides freewill offerings
for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.” Then rose up the heads of the
fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the
Levites, everyone whose spirit God had stirred to go up to rebuild
the house of the Lord that is in Jerusalem. And all who were about
them aided them with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, with
beasts, and with costly wares, besides all that was freely offered. Cyrus the
king also brought out the vessels of the house of
the Lord that Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and
placed in the house of his gods. Cyrus king of Persia brought these out in the
charge of Mithredath the treasurer, who counted them out
to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah. And this was the number of
them: 30 basins of gold, 1,000 basins of silver, 29 censers, 30 bowls of
gold, 410 bowls of silver, and 1,000 other vessels; all the vessels of gold and
of silver were 5,400. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up, when the exiles were
brought up from Babylonia to Jerusalem. (Ez 1:2-11) Hail Mary
